This Sunday we are going to the Mother's Day picnic at the Johannesburg zoo. I'm really looking forward to it - we went last year and my daughter had loads of fun. This year she is even older, so I'm sure she'll have fun.

The weather here has been awesome, and I hope it will continue to Sunday.

What tips do you have for a healthy picnic that is easy to pack, and which the men and kids will enjoy as well?

What did you do for your picnic? I like fruit and salad, and sandwiches can work too (unless you fill them up with cheese and pate, in which case they turn into little calorie bombs).
