Subject: Daily support thread - Tuesday 24 April
Hi girls (and maybe guys?)

I'm going to start a daily support thread. Please feel free to post your daily issues with food, exercise and motivation! I just quickly need to do some work, but will be back later this pm.

Hope there will be a post when I'm back!

How do you plan what you eat?

I am a great fan of planning, but not so great at actually DOING it. I tend to eat according to 'gut feel' and then log it at the end of the day, and hope it's ok. It's a bit of a hit and miss approach. What do you do?

I agree with you there, I also plan ahead for the next day, and then also miss a bit. At my work, we have a canteen, with LOTS of food. They have cooked meals, sandwiches, pies, and ALSO healthy food, - salads, wraps, sushi etc. So I can make good choices there, however I am tempted (especially now in Winter) to go for the breads, soups, stews etc.
My plan now is to decide what to eat the following day, and then I go down to the salad bar BEFORE they put out the cooked food, so I dont get tempted.
I log what I eat during the day, so I can see how many Calories etc. I have left for the day.

I think logging what you eat is a great starting point. Not that I've done it YET lol!

Its the first time that I've actually lost some weight this week and I'm stoked ! lol

I find it easy to eat healthy at work, eventhough most of my colleagues have take aways EVERY day. I've found that when I had the same habits as my colleagues, my weight remained stable ;(

This week I had Soup and rice crackers only and on monday a piece of cheese as well. Yesterday I needed energy so I had Play energy drink, biscuits and Croissant and feta


I'm really going to try harder at keeping a log IT DEFINITELY HELPS
