What is your favourite diet advice? My mother always says there is only one exercise that works for weight loss... Closing your mouth, and shaking your head from left to right, and then right to left when someone offers you cake.

Ha ha ha

Water, Water , Water! (when you feel hungry - first drink a glass and see if you're still hungry after 10min. Just have it all the time)
Cup of boiled water (perhaps with some lemon) first thing in the morning
Bananas and apples fills you up nicely

A good habit is to drink water way before you realise you are thirsty; while you only eat after you realise that you're hungry

Good one - I try to have a lot of water, but don't always manage. With the winter months approaching it's a problem - it's so COLD.

I find it hard to go to the gym because everybody there seems to be built like superman. I keep telling myself that I'm not there because I look good, but because I WANT TO look good.

ya, gyms are like that! many go there sporting high fashion, men: anything revealing or defining their muscles and women go as far as wearing make-up. funny
It is in there scenarios where you are really tested! Self-discipline (something I CURRENTLY have very little of), perseverance and FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS. You can do it and you WILL do it.

I'm learning a lot about myself on this journey - you would think I'd know myself by now heehee

Taking baby steps for me is EXTREMELY hard, even frustrating at times. I want results and I want them NOW! It's easy to lose focus.

where shall my motivation come from...?
